Thelma M. (Pete) Queen Harlan, age 80 of the Mason House, Clarksburg, WV
died Monday, November 3, 2003 at her residence. She was born in Harrison
County, WV on June 1, 1923, a daughter of the late Bennett G. Queen and
Olive Jane (Riffle) Queen.
Her husband, Fred Leon Harlan, whom she married on July 6, 1949,
preceded her in death on January 17, 1977.
Surviving are one sister, Ruby M. Keister, Clarksburg, WV, three nephews,
Fray G. Queen, Jr., Terry Robert Queen and Jack L. Keister; six nieces,
Judy Keister Davis, Tammy Queen Gragg, Trina Queen, Dottie Whiteman,
Beulah Stanton and Pauline Dye.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Bessie Heater, a brother,
Fray G. Queen, Sr..
Mrs. Harlan was a protestant by faith.
She previously worked for the former G. C. Murphy Company.
Also, she lived in East View of Clarksburg most of her life.
Friends will be received at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home,
329 East Main Street, Clarksburg, WV from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m,
Wednesday where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m.,
Wednesday, November 5, 2003 with the Reverend Etheldean Yanero
presiding. Interment will be in the Stonewall Park Cemetery.
