Eleanor M. “Peggy” Carr, age 73 , of Clarksburg, WV,
passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at United Hospital
Center. She was born on May 3, 1939 in Clarksburg, WV,
a daughter to the late Dennan Carr and Cordelia (Carden)
Carr.
She is survived by her guardian, Kathy Hawkins of Shinnston,
WV; her two closest friends, Lillie and Paula. She was
surrounded by her friends and care givers, Liz and Shelia
She was among the oldest living person with Downs
Syndrome in West Virginia.
Peggy attended Holy Trinity Chapel in Clarksburg. She loved
to look at magazines and spend time with her friends. Peggy
was a joy to all that new her.
Friends will be received at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home,
329 East Main St., Clarksburg on Friday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM,
where a funeral service will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 at
2:00 PM with Pastor Tim Sandy presiding. Interment will be in Floral Hills
Memorial Gardens.
