Joe Cupak, age 94, of Jupiter, Florida, passed away Saturday,
June 16, 2012 peacefully at home with his family at his bedside.
He was born on October 13, 1917 in Lansford, Pa, a son to the
late Stephen Cupak and Julia (Terek) Cupak.
He moved to Clarksburg, WV, with his wife and son, after
serving in the Merchant Marines for 4 years.
Joe was the owner of the Ramblers Inn pool room in Clarksburg
and later became the supervisor for the department of
highways for 10 years.
Joe is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Ann (Babe) and
his son, Ronnie.
He was a lover of planting his garden and woodworking. He left
West Virginia to move to Florida to share so many wonderful
things with his family. Everyone knew him as Papa since he loved
children and being with his family, they will truly miss him.
Joe leaves behind his daughter, Mary Ann; his granddaughter
Kellie, and his great grandsons, Cody and Nicholas along with
his sister, Margaret.
Joe had a great smile and happy spirit that he freely shared
with everyone.
Friends will be received at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home,
329 East Main St., Clarksburg on Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M.,
where a Parastas Service will be held at 7:30 PM. A Celebration
of his wonderful life will be celebrated at Davis-Weaver Funeral
Home on Saturday at 10:30 AM with Father Michael Huszti as
celebrant. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, where
military honors will be accorded by the Harrison County Honor
Guard and U.S. Navy Honor Guard.

Dearest Mary Ann, I'm so sorry for your loss. I always thought you had the coolest Dad because he owned the Pool Room where all the "neat" guys hung out.
